The poet:   Dr. Bigyani Das  lives in Columbia, Maryland with her husband Naresh Das and daughters Bagmi, Mrunali and Shashwati.  Currently she is working at Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA. She is also a visiting scientist at  School of Medicine Johns Hopkins University,  Baltimore, MD 20552,  USA. She is also secretary of The Orissa Society of Americas (OSA) national chapter.
